Teamwork Skills - Conversation Skills - Friendship Skills - Emotional Regulation - Conflict Resolution Skills
On zoom - from your home
This is a fun role-playing team adventure course for your child, where we tackle a new social skill on each week’s quest.
Your child becomes a character in a great big teamwork game, and will work together with others to complete quests.
It’s sort of like the “Choose-Your-Own-Adventure” books you read as a child, but waaayyyyy more fun.
It is a bit like a super-happy version of “Dungeons & Dragons”, except with no killing, no nasty stuff, and no dark themes.
Together we will solve puzzles, beat challenges and work together as a team.
This course builds on the skills that your young person will develop or has developed in our other courses.

We will overcome raging storms, devastating droughts, and overcome outrageous challenges to protect our animals. Can we work together to rescue the world’s rarest and weirdest creatures and find our missing team member, “Captain Amazing”?
PIRATES & OCEAN EXPLORERS - October 23/24/25/26 onwards
(Weekly - 9 sessions, after school times)
Your child becomes an elite ocean explorer, overcoming the challenges of the waves and the winds to sail the 7 seas. Together, will we track down “The Ultimate Treasure” and find our missing friend, “Captain Brave”?
SPACESHIP CADETS - January 16-25 2023
(Daily - 9 sessions, "holiday intensive")
Your child joins an elite Space-Team to travel in a spaceship through the galaxy, daring to land on unfamiliar planets, search abandoned planets. We will work together to unlock the mystery of “Where in the galaxy is Captain Awesome?”
We have different goals for each child. We set goals depending on your child's abilities, and for community members who are on NDIS, we set goals that match NDIS objectives and we match goals to your child's unique personality.
At each time slot, we will have a mini-group of students working together, with our leaders helping and guiding team-work negotiations.
Each session we have a different topic that we work through together.
This is an online community for any child who is looking to build their social skills and social confidence.
We have different session times, depending on your child's age group and interests.
We've deliberately designed these sessions so that your child can experience friendship, regardless of their age or ability.
That's because your child will work with two of our staff members who will make sure that everyone is using friendly voices and supporting each other.
Structured to be approved for NDIS self-managed or NDIS plan-managed families to make claiming NDIS easier.
(Families not on NDIS can also participate, funding themselves.)
It is helpful to know that some other families have told us they usually use these categories (or similar):
a) Increased Social & Community Participation
b) Improved Daily Living
Chat with your plan manager for what is relevant to your situation.
For plan-managed participants, your plan manager will be able to tell you whether your plan will cover this.
Many families are able to cover this without any out-of-pockets.
You don’t need to travel anywhere. It's easy to use Zoom from your lounge room.
Social skills can be learned.
We love helping your family thrive.
Supported by the team at Athletic Koala.
Also working alongside Pathway Partnerships.
We are AUSTRALIA-WIDE and even WORLD-WIDE on Zoom.
